Terms of Service
Last updated April 13, 2026
1. What Spendrein does
Spendrein is a tool for detecting wasted SaaS and subscription spend. You upload a bank or card statement, we identify recurring charges, and we surface recommendations such as cancelling, downgrading, or consolidating subscriptions. Pro plans additionally track commercial contracts and their renewal windows.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You must be authorised to upload any statement you provide — in particular, don’t upload statements for accounts you don’t own or have explicit permission to analyse.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to probe, scan, or disrupt the service; don’t upload content that is illegal, malicious, or infringing; and don’t use Spendrein to build a competing product by scraping our outputs.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans renew automatically on the billing cycle you selected. You can cancel or change your plan any time from Settings → Subscription, which links to a Stripe-hosted portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we don’t refund partial periods unless required by law.
5. No financial advice
Spendrein’s recommendations are heuristics, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Always review our suggestions before acting on them. We are not liable for decisions you make based on an audit report.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and our aggregate liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
